Last week, we were proud to have our very own Netta from our QLD office represent us at the 2024 IFCBAA Women in Logistics High Tea, held at the stunning Customs House in Brisbane.
This prestigious event brought together women from across the logistics and freight industries, celebrating the achievements and contributions of women in a traditionally male-dominated field. The morning was filled with inspiring talks, networking opportunities, and a strong sense of community.
The keynote speakers delivered powerful messages that resonated with everyone in attendance. Christine Kankkunen, of Pivot Freight Solutions, and Sandra Bailey, from Direct Couriers, both shared their personal stories of navigating and thriving in the logistics sector. Their journeys of perseverance and success are a testament to the evolving role of women in our industry.
Additionally, Emma Lovell gave a deeply relatable talk on the challenges of balancing work and personal life in 2024. Her insights on maintaining well-being while excelling professionally sparked meaningful conversations among the attendees.
We are incredibly proud of Netta’s participation in this important event, which highlights the strength, resilience, and potential of women in logistics. Events like these not only inspire but also remind us of the importance of gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
We look forward to continuing our support for initiatives that champion women in our industry.
